Azumanda Daioh Kyoto

I decided to start getting a move on with organising the Japan Trip.

All up, I’ll be out for 16 days, 15 nights. But… there are a couple of problems which I’m hoping to God will hopefully work out in the end (See below):

Here’s my itinerary for the 16 days I’ll be in Japan:

Issues:

  1. I have nowhere to sleep for the first 2 nights in Kyoto. Literally all Ryokans are booked out, and all the budget hotels are booked out as well. It turns out that the two nights I’ll be hitting up Kyoto in, will be during a holiday weekend. Combined with the fact that Kyoto is the major destination for tourism for Japanese tourises as well as foreigners, my chances are quite slim when it comes to getting cheap accommodation. It looks like we’ll have to settle for a love hotel! Hah!
  2. I will be in Japan for 16 days, 15 nights. To get around I need a train pass, and the only variants of train passes they sell are in lots of 7 days. This means for the first two days, we’ll have to get by without the use of a JR pass - and just use cold hard cash to get around. Hopefully it isn’t too much to get to the first hotel!

For all my friends who are reading, let me know what you would like to get from Japan and I will (try) to accommodate :)
